How to install presets in Lightroom Mobile? (.DNG Files)

Step 1: Download and set up the Adobe Lightroom Mobile app on your smartphone or tablet.

Step 2: After completing your purchase, you’ll get immediate access to your files. Click the "Download files" button on the order confirmation page or check your email for the download link.

Step 3: Download the .ZIP file containing your Lightroom presets and extract the files.

  • iOS: Locate the .ZIP file in your files, tap it to extract the contents.

  • Android: Install a file manager app like Files by Google or WinZip. Navigate to the .ZIP file, tap 'Extract,' preview the files, and optionally delete the .ZIP file after extraction.

Step 4: Launch the Lightroom Mobile app.

Step 5: Tap "Lightroom" at the bottom of the app. For better organization, create a dedicated Lightroom Presets album. Click "All photos," then "Create new" to name your new album.

Step 6: Upload your presets (DNG files):

  • Tap "Add photos."
  • Select "From files."
  • Locate and select the folder with your presets.

Step 7: Find and select the presets:

  • Tap the '...' icon in the top right corner.
  • Choose 'Select' and tap 'Select All.'
  • Tap 'Done' to import all presets.

Step 8: After importing, if you can't see your presets due to recent Lightroom updates:

  • Tap "My edits" at the top of the screen.
  • Select "Imports" to make your DNG files visible.
  • If necessary, adjust gallery sorting by tapping the sorting icon and selecting "Import Date."

Step 9: Create presets from the .DNG files:

  • Tap a newly imported file.
  • Click the three dots in the top-right corner.
  • Select "Create Preset," name it, and place it in a Preset Group.

Step 10: Use your Lightroom presets:

  • Pick an image and swipe left until you see "Presets."
  • Tap the collection name to choose your new presets.
  • Adjust intensity as needed and tap the checkmark to apply.

Step 11: Save your edited photo:

  • Tap the Share icon (box with an upward arrow) in the top right corner.
  • Select "Export to Camera Roll" or "Export."
  • Ensure you select JPG and 100% quality, then tap "Export."

Your beautifully edited photo is now saved and ready to be shared!
